International Women’s Day 2026 brings a renewed focus on the role of generosity, shared opportunity and collective progress in advancing women in business and leadership.
This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” highlights a powerful principle: when individuals and organisations actively contribute, the collective impact is greater than isolated success. The campaign encourages business leaders to strengthen networks, create access and build environments where more women can progress and lead.
For growth-minded businesses, this message carries real commercial relevance. Sustainable growth is shaped by leadership quality, inclusive culture and the ability to develop talent at every level. Organisations that invest in shared success tend to build stronger teams and more resilient performance over time.
Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce: IWD “Give to Gain” Event
As part of its International Women’s Day 2026 programme, the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a dedicated “Give to Gain” networking lunch and speaker event in the Thames Valley region. The event brings together senior leaders, founders and decision-makers to explore how purposeful leadership and collaborative contribution can unlock greater opportunity for women across the business community.
The programme focuses on practical leadership insight, shared experience and meaningful connection, creating space for open discussion on how businesses can support women’s progression while strengthening commercial outcomes.
Little Spark Strategy Selected as a Featured Speaker
We’re proud to share that Little Spark Strategy has been selected as a featured speaker at the event.
Our contribution will centre on how marketing and commercial leadership can act as a strategic growth driver while also shaping inclusive, high-performing cultures. As a consultancy working closely with ambitious SMEs, we see firsthand how clarity of purpose and thoughtful talent development influence both commercial performance and long-term resilience.
For us, participating in this event reflects a broader commitment. As we continue to grow Little Spark Strategy, we’re intentional about contributing to the wider business ecosystem around us. Speaking at International Women’s Day is part of that. It enables us to share practical insight from our experience, engage with fellow leaders and support a conversation that has tangible implications for business performance.
Building a consultancy focused on unlocking sustainable growth for SMEs means operating as an embedded extension of leadership teams. It also means showing up beyond client engagements and contributing where it matters.
International Women’s Day provides an opportunity to reflect on progress made, recognise ongoing challenges and participate in shaping more inclusive leadership environments. The “Give to Gain” theme aligns closely with our belief that long-term growth is strengthened by collaboration, generosity of expertise and deliberate leadership development.
We’re looking forward to contributing to the discussion and connecting with regional leaders to continue to build Little Spark Strategy in a way that reflects both commercial ambition and meaningful impact!
Extending the “Give to Gain” Commitment
Alongside our involvement with the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce International Women’s Day event, we are also making a practical contribution beyond the Chamber community.
As part of our wider commitment to supporting women and girls through business expertise, we are offering a complimentary strategic workshop to a women’s or girls’ charity.
This will be a focused, high-value session designed to help leadership teams clarify growth priorities, strengthen positioning, or sharpen their commercial and marketing approach. Many charities operate with limited access to senior marketing and commercial leadership, and a well-structured session can provide clarity that supports longer-term impact.
We will be selecting the charity based on nominations from our network.
If you would like to nominate a women’s or girls’ charity to receive this free workshop, please email us at info@littlesparkstrategy.co.uk with a brief outline of the organisation and why it would benefit from strategic marketing and commercial input.
We will review nominations and confirm the selected organisation following International Women’s Day.
Need a helping hand?
If it all feels a bit much, we’re here to help. Since starting out we’ve come to realise that many businesses need help to build realistic plans and achieve growth.
As two ex-corporate professionals with the experience of building both local and global plans, often with limited resources, we have the knowledge to share.
